Paper Cranes

Posted by Mia Murphy on 12th Apr 2016

Today I learned how to make a paper crane.  I was at a community group, bringing people together, at the playgroup Miss J and I attend.

The lady who taught us how to do is super crafty.  I'm not.  But there is something meditative about the rhythmic folds of paper, following the process to produce something quite beautiful.

And, it's great exercise for the brains, and for the hands and fingers.  No knitting needle, crochet hook or embroidery thread to hold, just your hands, and the paper.

It's great therapy for anyone with stiff or arthritic hands, and you get almost instant results.  Give it a go.
